Visible cracks, dents, deformation, repainting and signs of repairs. We check play, visible bolts and whether the model and size match the listing.
2Suspension and seatpost+
Leaks, play, damage, settings operation and signs of service need. We also check the dropper seatpost.
3Brakes+
Braking power, lever feel, leaks and visible condition of pads and rotors. We look for rubbing, warping and signs of overheating.
4Gears and drivetrain+
Shifting, chain wear, cassette and chainring wear. We check the cranks, bottom bracket and visible cable condition.
5Wheels, tires and bearings+
Bends, dents and cracks in rims, loose spokes, tire condition, play and unusual noises in the hubs.
6Test ride and overall condition+
A short ride when the seller and conditions allow. We check noises, braking, shifting and handling. We review available documents and serial number without guaranteeing origin.

We do not disassemble or repair on-site. The inspection does not guarantee the absence of hidden internal defects. For carbon it does not replace specialized diagnostics; for e-bikes it excludes motor and battery diagnostics.

Do I need to be at the inspection?+
No. We can check the bike instead of you in Sofia. You'll get a written summary and we'll discuss the result. We photograph key findings with the seller's consent.
What happens if the seller cancels?+
If the seller refuses or the inspection doesn't happen for reasons outside your control, you can get a full refund or reschedule.
Do you guarantee no hidden defects?+
No. We give an independent assessment of the visible condition and operation at the time of inspection. Without disassembly, internal defects cannot be fully ruled out. This is not a guarantee or insurance.
Do you inspect carbon and e-bikes?+
For carbon we look for visible signs of impact, cracks and suspicious repairs. We don't perform ultrasound diagnostics. For e-bikes we check the mechanical parts and available app information where possible — no motor or battery diagnostics.
When will the inspection be?+
After the preliminary call we agree a day, time and location with you and the seller. The call time is not the inspection time. We don't promise same-day inspections.
If I don't buy the bike, do I get my money back?+
You're paying for the inspection and independent opinion, not for a successful purchase. Deciding against a bad bike is also a useful result. A follow-up inspection is €35.
Will I get a written report?+
For remote inspections yes, a short written summary. If you're present, we explain the findings on-site. Repair estimates are indicative, not fixed service quotes.
